The student is able to

Implementation and methods of teaching
Oral and written individual/group assignments/tests.
Oral presentations (group) based on different themes relating to international business/course themes.
A job application package including a written cover letter/CV/a video CV.
A job interview (individual/group).
Active discussions during contact lessons.
Timing and attendance
According to the timetable.
Compulsory attendance for all contact lessons.
Compulsory completion of all course assignments.
No substitute work given for missed assignments/lessons.
Missing contact lessons affects the final course grade.
Learning material and recommended literature
Materials provided by the course facilitator and the students (as per course assignments).
Exam retakes
Final course exam, and/or individual tests as per course assignments/presentations.

Course 3 ECTS (European Credit Accumulation and Transfer System). One ECTS equals 27 hours of student work. The estimated workload is 3 x 27 hours. This includes once-a-week contact lessons, homework, reading, and course assignments.
Contact lessons: 16-22 hrs
Reading and homework: 25-30 hrs
Assignments and activities: 25-30 hrs
Contents
Some basic tools for language usage: vocabulary, pronunciation, reading/understanding/communication.
Education and qualifications; identifying key job skills and managing in job-related situations in English.
Key business topics/themes and concepts researched/discussed/presented in English.
Additional information for students: previous knowledge etc.
Intermediate to upper-intermediate level skills in English (e.g. CEFR B2 / IELTS 6)
Assessment criteria
Attendance, active participation, course assignments and course tests. No substitute assignments given for missed lessons/tests. Upgrading received course assignment grades not allowed.
