Implementation and methods of teaching

The purpose of Nurse´s core competences (180 Ects) national exam is to confirm that all registered nurses meet the competence requirements of general nursing (180 ECTS credits) regulated by EU Directive.The student participates the exam after completing 180 ECTS credits.

The exam includes a theory test and a medication calculation test.

Timing and attendance

Nurse´s core competences (180 Ects) national exam has to be completed before applying the degree certificate. The exam is digital and is done under supervision in Moodle platform.

A student reserves a place for the exam from the Moodle platform of Nurse´s core competences (180 Ects) national exam.

The exam lasts three hours.

Nurse´s core competences (180 Ects) national exam includes questions from all areas of nursing.

Exam retakes

The exam includes a theory test and a medication calculation test.The tests can be done separately. A calculator may be used in the medication calculation test.
