Contents

In sculpture and spatial art, scale, proportion and distance play a major role in the impact of a work.
The course will approach scale in art from two perspectives: through relationships and through impact. Practical work will focus on the relationship between three-dimensional art and space, and explore the dynamics of the work and the subject through the concept of scale. During the course, theoretical discussions will be held in order to understand the reciprocal function of perception and experience and its importance in the artist's work.
