Implementation and methods of teaching
The course is an online course on Moodle and the student is expected to work according to the agreed schedule. The course consists of 1) independent assignments that are to be returned to the Moodle platform and 2) volunteering in working life / third sector.
Timing and attendance
The course starts on January 1 and ends on May 31, 2022.
The course consists of the following sections:
1. Initial assignment 1 cr
2. Getting to know the organizations - online introduction task 1 cr
3. Volunteering 2 cr (54 hours) and learning diary 1 cr
Previous volunteer work can be recognized through. The student must have acquired competence in accordance with the competence objectives and contents of the course. Competence must be demonstrated as agreed. The student returns a certificate of volunteering to Moodle on a separate return platform. In addition, the student verifies and reflects on the volunteer work he or she has done in the learning diary. The student is responsible for obtaining and submitting an employment certificate.

The study material of the course is available on Moodle.
Alternative completion methods
Volunteering that has already been done in the past can be utilized by previously acquired expertise process (partial e-ahot 2 cr).
Working life cooperation
The course includes co-operation in working life/in third sector oganizations.
Exam retakes
No exam.

Online learning environment (Moodle), self-selected learning environments.
Student time use and work load
The scope of 5 credits is 135 hours of student work.

c) Functional part (doing voluntary work) 2 cr (54 hours of student work)
