Implementation and methods of teaching

Suomi with Love 1 is an online elementary course of Finnish language. Suomi with Love 1 is an independent study course, provided in Moodle. It has an introductory lecture and two optional meetings in Zoom. The final exam will be held in Zoom.

Timing and attendance

The course must be completed during summer semester (02.05.2024 - 01.09.2024.). Introductory lecture on May 2. Introductory lecture will be recorded and available in Moodle. The course has two optional online meetings to practice oral skills, on June 14 and August 1. The final exam will take place in August.

Learning material and recommended literature

All the material is online, mostly in Moodle. To complete the course you will need a working computer with a working microphone and camera and sufficient internet access.

Learning environment

The course is in Moodle and has maximum few meetings in Zoom. The final exam is in Zoom.

Student time use and work load

The course is 3 ECT, equivalent to about 81 hours of work.
