Opetellaan japanin peruskieliopin alkeet. Sanavarastoa kehitetään niin, että arkielämän sanastoa alkaa kertyä. Harjoitellaan itsestä, omista opiskeluista ja arjen asioista puhumista.
• päivittäiset tervehdykset ja fraasit " lukusanat, kellonajat, viikonpäivät ja päivämäärät
• esittäytymisen fraasit, mm. kansallisuudesta ja opiskelu- tai työpaikasta keskusteleminen
• aukioloajoista, alkamis- ja päättymisajoista keskusteleminen.
Opintojaksoa Japanin tavumerkit suositellaan opiskeltavaksi samanaikaisesti Japani 1 opintojakson kanssa.

- introductory phrases, e.g. discussing nationality and where you are studying or working
- discussing opening and closing times.
It is recommended to study Japanese characters at the same time as Japanese 1.
