Implementation and methods of teaching
What is a photograph? The course introduces you to the different forms and materials of photography. We will go through several techniques including making a picture with a pinhole camera, cyanotype and developing with tea. Teaching will aim to address individual areas of interest in artistic work and strengthen personal expression.
Timing and attendance
Participation in contact teaching, completing assigned tasks, being active and taking part in critiques.
Student time use and work load
One credit is an average of 27 student hours, 5op= 135h.
The course is taught for four weeks between Tue-Fri. General daily working hours are 9-16.
Contents
Analysing your own and your fellow students' personal production. Deepen experimental photographic expression and introduce new photographic methods and technical means of expression. Learning to relate photography to contemporary art.
Assessment criteria
The individual working process, the progress of personal expression and the artistic outcome of the course as a whole will be assessed.

- Can evaluate and justify their skills and set artistic, content-related and technical development objectives
- Able to follow and describe the professional debate in their field
