Objective

The student is able to:
- be aware of inequalities, demographical changes and social movements in the world
- understand different concepts of diversity and inclusion in the workplace and their impact on organizations and individuals
- recognize the benefits of managing diversity in organizations
- understand global impacts of their own actions and the importance of a global mindset in today’s world.

Learning outcomes

Implementation and methods of teaching

This is an intensive programme which will be conducted in co-operation with partners from Germany and the Netherlands at Lappeenranta Campus from 15.-19.1.2024. Attendance in the sessions is compulsory. Additionally a virtual section will be carried out in November-December.

Teaching methods: lectures, group work, literature, individual essay, intercultural and cultural activities during the mobility period
