Implementation and methods of teaching

The course is taught face-to-face in the Fine Art premises. Students will have the opportunity to use a variety of techniques and materials in their work, and to choose appropriate workshop activities, taking into account the needs of other users of the premises.

Timing and attendance

The course is held weekly between Tue-Fri. Daily general working hours 9-16.

Attendance 80%.

Learning environment

The course is taught face-to-face, i.e. it cannot be taken remotely.

Contents

The course introduces you to conceptual art in general and practises the principles of conceptualism through a variety of exercises.

In addition, the fundamentals will be explored through conceptual expression in jewellery art with exercises suitable for anyone to develop their own artistic work and strengthen their own artistic identity.

The thematic focus and guest teachers will change from semester to semester.

During the course, students will create their own conceptual jewellery artwork/composition, which will be presented in a collective exhibition/course critique. The presentation will be part of the work.

Different techniques and materials can be used and combined in your own work. During the course it is also possible to practise and deepen your knowledge of jewellery techniques and materials according to your own interests.

The Basics of Jewellery course must be completed before attending the course.

- Repeated absences from lessons and teaching situations
- Poor performance of tasks

Can apply a wide range of options to their artistic work process
- Can create artworks based on their ideas in a guided and independent way and develop their work based on feedback
- Can independently identify and compare the methods of artistic creation used
- Can evaluate and justify their skills and set artistic, content-related and technical development objectives
- Able to follow and describe the professional debate in their field

Can apply and develop a variety of options for their artistic work process
- Can use what they have learned in a planned and creative way in their work and apply the feedback they receive
