The students will learn to introduce themselves, to tell some basic things about occupation, hobbies and towns as well to use some basic phrases in situations related to dining and grocery shopping and telling the way.

The students will learn to use the following grammatical structures: verb conjugation in present tense, personal pronouns, numbers, use of articles, accusative and word order in the main clause.

- written exam: 0 to 5

Contents

During the course, we will go through the following situations: introducing yourself and telling your personal details, telling about your profession and hobbies, getting around town, shopping and eating out, and the days and months of the week.

In terms of structures, we will learn about verb inflection in the present tense, personal pronouns, reading words, the use of articles, the accusative and the word order of a main clause.

Assessment criteria

The assessment consists of three components:
1) written exam: 0-5
2) oral exam or continuous assessment*: pass/fail (*continuous assessment requires active participation in 75% of the lessons).
3) successful completion of unit-specific learning tasks in Moodle.

The students will learn to introduce themselves, to tell some basic things about occupation, hobbies and towns as well to use some basic phrases in situations related to dining and grocery shopping and telling the way.

The students will learn to use the following grammatical structures: verb conjugation in present tense, personal pronouns, numbers, use of articles, accusative and word order in the main clause.

Contents

The students will learn to introduce themselves, to tell some basic things about occupation, hobbies and towns as well to use some basic phrases in situations related to dining and grocery shopping and telling the way.

The students will learn to use the following grammatical structures: verb conjugation in present tense, personal pronouns, numbers, use of articles, accusative and word order in the main clause.

- written exam: 0 to 5
