- is able to recognize ethical issues, values and principles in the Mental health and substance abuse care
- is able to recognise Mental health and substance abuse problems
- knows what are the methods used in Mental health and substance abuse care to treat patients / clients
- knows the principle ideas of being in a therapeutical relationshionp with patient / client

STUDENT:
- knows general management models
- masters the basics of work community skills
- knows how to act as an active and developing team member
- is able to evaluate and improve his / her own work and management behavior skills
- knows the main contents of the collective labour agreement
- is able to participate in profit responsibility planning and management of own and work community activities
