-can explain the reasons and predisposing factors of the most common medical disorders and additionally the patient's symptoms caused by the illness and the used diagnostics and interventions
- can explain the pathophysiology of the most common illnesses and drug therapy used to for treating them, the indications and contraindications, the mechanisms of actions and most common side or combined effects
- understands the special features of medical nursing care
- applies suitable nursing interventions and understands the meaning of patient education in medical nursing care
- is able to communicate professionally
- understands the contents of palliative nursing and its meaning in the care of dying patients
