Implementation and methods of teaching
How to complete the course:
1. Active attendance at the course 80%. Attendance is mandatory in the first time.
2. Completing assigned tasks with approval and returning them in the agreed schedule
3. Presenting your own tasks and participating in criticism
4. Course evaluation framework
If you are unable to complete the things required in the course in the given schedule, a replacement schedule and tasks must be agreed with the teacher

The course is evaluated based on assignments; the student's activity to participate and return the tasks according to the schedule, the ability to understand and implement the principles of biomaterial-based sustainable design, and the high-quality end result of the main task of implementation.

Assessment criteria: level 1 (assessment scale 1–5)
The student can:
- completes a brief biomaterial orientation and research section
- identify a few methods in product design and manufacturing
- apply research narrowly in a design project
- presents his research according to the instructions
- The student participates poorly and is absent without informing the teacher.
- The student hands in the presentation late
Assessment criteria: level 3 (assessment scale 1–5)
The student can:
- make a detailed biomaterial survey or study
- recognizes many material- and structure-oriented methods in product design and manufacturing
- apply research in a design project
- create a comprehensive presentation of your research
- possible absences are justified and notified in advance to the instructors
- The student hands in the presentation late, unless otherwise agreed with the teacher.
Assessment criteria: level 5 (assessment scale 1–5)
The student can:
- do professional material research
- identify and develop new sustainable methods in product design and manufacturing
- apply and develop research in a design project
- create a professional presentation of their research and product development.
- innovativeness in the implementation of the design task.
- The student hands in the presentation according to the schedule.
