Osaamistavoitteet

The student is able to
- describe the basic concepts of micro- and macroeconomics
- recognise the causes and effects for internal balance problems in economy
- understand the special features of labour market
- describe the reasons and consequences of economic fluctuations and the central channels of influence in economic policy
- understand the basic functions of foreign exchange market

Toteutustapa ja opetusmenetelmät

Course takes place on spring term 2024 - begins on week 11. Schedule will be updated in the end of February and information will be delivered to the participants via moodle.

Participants are divided to two groups - both groups are having 6 compulsory campus contact sessions - 3 hours / week ( 3 x 45 minutes ).

Compulsory minimum attendance 5 contact sessions !!!

Case assignment in groups connected to the following courses: Financial Accounting, International Business Law, and Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Enrolling in all these four courses is highly recommended.
