Aims & Objectives

- Knowledge:
The purpose of this course is to provide knowledge about patient safety in nursing care.

- Skills:
Student knows the most important rules/strategies guiding patient safety and understands the meaning of patient safety in quality assurance of health care. Student trains in patient moving and helping situations and can implement principles of occupational safety in health care.

- Critical thinking requirement
Know how to apply these skills in helping situations and patient moving

- Attitudes and behaviour
Improving students attitudes and behaviour in guiding patient safety
