The student is able to
- act in accordance with the rights of the child, the values of the social welfare field and the principles of professional ethics while promoting and strengthening the child's inclusion and protection
- work professionally and in dialogue-based manner in interactive situations with children and families, reflecting on their own activities and different operating methods
- assess the significance of psychosocial support when working in a child's and families' change and crisis situations
- structure the child welfare process in accordance with the Child Welfare Act
- assess the significance of societal phenomena and their impact on the opportunities of individuals and families to operate in society
