Objective

The student is able to
- promote the child’s feeling of being heard and inclusion in early childhood education and care and strengthen the sense of community of families and other educational communities
- explain the significance of children's peer relationships and play as a source of children's development, learning and wellbeing
- reflect on their own professional interaction and build and justify their own perception of education in accordance with legislation and research data guiding early childhood education and care
- observe, plan, implement, document, evaluate and develop the pedagogical activities and operating culture of early childhood education and care while recognising the related societal phenomena
- apply pedagogical methods and group guidance skills in early childhood education and care diversely
- analyse factors affecting the interaction and well-being of the education community
- explain their expertise in early childhood education and social pedagogy in multidisciplinary cooperation networks
