Toteutustapa ja opetusmenetelmät
This course is a virtual course. The contact learning lectures are held online. The assignments and exams can be done independently.
Exact timing will be informed in the course´s Moodle platform in the beginning of the study module.

Opiskelijan ajankäyttö ja kuormitus
The average work load for this course is estimated to be 135 hours (5 ECTS). The main part of the study module´s work load consists of independent work, about 100 hours. The time allocation for contact learning is about 5 hours. There is also about 30 hours time allocated for final exam, preparation and execution.
Sisältö
This course focuses on the technical and material cycles, especially non-renewable natural resources. It aim is to highlight the importance of the responsible production and consumption based on the principles of the circular economy. Also the principles of sustainable value chains, design and examples of circular economy models will be familiar during the course.

Toteutustapa ja opetusmenetelmät
This course is a virtual course. The part of the lectures are prerecorded. All of the assignments and exams can be done on-line. There will be approximately 4 contact learning sessions, which exact timing will be informed in the course´s Moodle platform and in TimeEdit. The contact learning sessions contains lectures, group discussions and workshops. To pass the course student must do two individual and group assignments, based on the teachers instructions. Also online exam is arranged.
Ajoitus ja läsnäolo
The study module will start on Tuesday 15th of November afternoon (follow Moodle and TimeEdit). It is strongly recommended to participate contact learning sessions. The deadlines for assignments and exams will be informed in the beginning of the study module.

About 40 hours is allocated for final exam, preparation and execution.

It aim is to highlight the importance of the responsible production and consumption based on the principles of the circular economy. Also the principles of sustainable value chains, design and examples of circular economy models will be familiar during the course.
