Implementation and methods of teaching

Lahti Venture Program is a two-month program in which multidisciplinary student teams develop solutions for business challenges presented by companies operating in the Lahti region. Throughout the program, the students receive sparring from local company representatives and entrepreneurship experts. The program familiarizes students with different aspects of business operations: forming a business idea, charting customer needs, and commercializing ideas. It's an excellent opportunity to create contacts and build networks with top companies in the region, develop business know-how and get tools for future working life. LVP culminates in the Best Business Concept competition, where teams present their work to other participants and judges. Each member of the winning team will get a monetary prize. In addition, the students may acquire internships or jobs at the companies involved. The program is in English. It is for students from LAB University of Applied Sciences, LUT University, and the University of Helsinki. NOTE! Enrolment will end early if the total number of participants is reached before the end of the enrolment period.
