Objective

The student is able to
- assess the child’s support needs together with the team and guardians
- guide guardians to the multidisciplinary service system through dialogue when necessary
- support the child and family with sufficiently timely and well-targeted support, making use of the opportunities offered by daily encounters
- develop their vocational education work by recognising children's strengths, agency and peer relationships in interaction that values different support needs
- plan, implement, document and evaluate extensive and goal-oriented activities that support the child's development based on the early childhood education and care plan and are pedagogically emphasised on the basis of researched information
