Minimum requirements not met

Assessment criteria: level 1 (assessment scale 1–5)

Meets minimum criteria. Student is able to replicate key calculations according to the competence objectives for simple basic cases. Understands the terminology and identifies the significance of loading, structural, and material-specific damage mechanisms.

Assessment criteria: level 3 (assessment scale 1–5)

Good competence. Student is able to apply calculation methods to basic cases and structures resembling them. Understands process and development of damage mechanisms and how they can be assessed and prevented.

Assessment criteria: level 5 (assessment scale 1–5)

Excellent competence. Student is able to apply given calculation methods to significantly more challenging structures than basic cases. Has a deep understanding of the significance of failure mechanisms, and can justify actions for preventing failure and asses failure prevention methods suitable to case.
