Implementation and methods of teaching

Independently studied Moodle implementation. The course consists of six themes and related exercises that have a set completion time. The course is scheduled to have eight full calendar days for studying the lecture materials.

- Design thinking, how a designer thinks and works
- Basics of usability and usability testing
- Basics of user experience evaluation and UX design
- Basics of user interface design, wireframe models and prototyping

Assessment criteria

Course grade is calculated as a sum of assessed performance in small lecture exercises, bigger practical work exercise and lecture activity. Attendance requirement is 80%.

Grading scale is 1-5.

Implementation and methods of teaching

Organised as MOOC (Massive open online course) requiring self-studying. Course is constructed with a series of six themes with their related exercise assignments. Each theme is completed weekly with assignment deadlines.
