Implementation and methods of teaching

Teaching language: German
The course is an online course with both individual assignments and pair and group work. Learning assignments are on Moodle. The course has online meetings on Zoom on 4.9., 19.9., 2.10. and 17.10. at 4.00 pm. For online meetings, the student will need a camera and a headset. Final exam in the electronic system Exam.

Timing and attendance

The course will start in week 36 and end in week 42.
Scheduled assignments. The course has four online meetings.
Online meetings on 4.9., 19.9., 2.10. and 17.10. at 4.00 pm. Active participation in online meetings is required, because the students will practice oral skills.
Final exam in the electronic system in weeks 43 to 45.

Contents

The student understands texts related to business, economics and sustainability and masters vocabulary related to topics. The student is able to tell about a company's operations and financial development both orally and in writing. The student is able to tell key things about the economic life of their own country and gets acquainted with the features of German economic life. The following structures will be practiced: the passive voice, comparison, infinitive clauses and nominalisation.

Assessment criteria

Successfull completion of written and oral assignments. Final exam in thel electronic exam. Scale 0 to 5.

The student's message is conveyed very well in both written and oral communication situations. They are able to use expressions typical of communication situations fluently. The use of structures is versatile and almost flawless.
