Topics:
- Sketching in CAD-software
- Mold modelling
- Surface modelling
- Assembly modelling
- Sheet metal development
- Indicating welds, surface roughness and tolerances in technical drawings.

Arviointikriteerit: taso 1: (arviointiasteikko 1-5)

The student knows the basic principles of technical drawings. The student can create and read simple drawings but there are some problems to dimension the projections according to the standards. The drawings produced by the student are incomplete and the student has difficulties to understand for example ISO tolerancing system and welding symbols. The student knows the basic principles of 3D-Modelling and can create simple models of parts and assemblies. The student can create simple drawings with few errors.

Arviointikriteerit: taso 3 (arviointiasteikko 1-5)

The student knows the drawing rules and knows the importance of the standards. The student is able to create drawings and select the required projections and details to clearly display parts. The student can make dimensioning and insert the most vital symbols and markings to the drawings. The student can create 3D-models of parts and assemblies without guiding. The student knows the drawing rules and is able to create drawings from modelled parts and assemblies according to standards.

Arviointikriteerit: taso 5 (arviointiasteikko 1-5)

The student can apply independently drawing rules when creating technical drawings. The student has no problems to understand or to read technical drawings and the student is able to understand all the details in drawings. The student can operate with 3D-Modelling software fluently.
