Learning outcomes
The student is able to
- identify aspects related to global corporate communication
- understand the communication process in purchasing and sales
- communicate both orally and in writing in different kinds of communication situations
- conduct meetings and negotiations in a global business environment
Implementation and methods of teaching
Readings about global communication followed by an exam. Individual and group assignments online. No substitute assignments provided for missed assignments.
Collaborative tasks with a partner university abroad (more information later).
This implementation is for 04LIL19KV students only.
Timing and attendance
The course starts with a two-week reading period (weeks 4 and 5) which is followed by a mid-term exam. Group assignments and online meetings during the rest of the course.

Contents
Oral and written professional and business communication. Team discussions to practice negotiation skills. Readings about global business and global business communication. Homework and assignments based on the readings.
