- utilise the futures research materials produced by national and international societies in their own field of studies
- use the terminology and methods of futures research in the research and development of their own field

Compulsory attendance in the first contact lecture.
Compulsory attendance in the workshops.

- Contact lecturess
- Individual reading tasks
- Different individual and group course assignments.
Estimated workload is the following:
- Contact lessons: 24 hrs
- Reading and preparation: 20-25 hrs
- Individual and group assignments: 40-45 hrs
- Final group assignment: 40-45 hrs

This course provides students with skills to:
- Anticipate the changes in their own operational environment
- Utilize the futures research materials in their own field of studies
- Use the terminology and methods of future research.
