Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- recognise the different sources and tools to help them improve their English skills
- gain confidence and manage in written and oral communication situations required in professional studies and in the work life
- describe their education and qualifications
- understand the terminology and concepts of their own field

Implementation and methods of teaching

Due to the continuation of the Coronavirus, the course will be implemented via real-time, live, online lessons. Situation will be checked at autumn term project week. Attendance required for course lessons.

Spoken and written tasks and assignments.
Course assignments are graded on a scale of 0 (fail) to 5 (excellent). Course assignments and course exam(s) must be completed (and receive a passing grade) in order to complete/finish the course.

Compulsory Assignments (graded):
1. Employment: Job application and/or CV and/or interview (individual work).
2. International business related theme(s): Theme-related group presentation and/or group activity (group work) and/or group-produced vocabulary/definitions.
3. Course theme-related exam(s) (individual work).

Timing and attendance

Attendance and active participation in lessons. All compulsory assignments must be completed (passed) to complete course.
Lessons are held once a week, every week.
