The student is able to
- recognise the different sources and tools to help them improve their English skills
- gain confidence and manage in written and oral communication situations required in professional studies and in the work life
- describe their education and qualifications
- understand the terminology and concepts of their own field
Implementation and methods of teaching
Contact lessons including oral and written course activities. Individual learning tasks online.
Compulsory assignments and activities:
-A student group-led discussion on a business-related topic, product or service (group task)
-Producing an infographic of 10-15 business-related terms with explanations (individual task)
-A self -SWOT and a recorded Skype job interview.

Basic tools for language learning; some key business topics and concepts discussed in English; education and qualifications; identifying key job skills and managing in job-related situations in English.
