Learning outcomes

Students will understand the idea of using an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system in a company. Student will the learn the order to delivery process in an ERP application. Student will learn to use functionalities of an ERP application.

Implementation and methods of teaching

Flipped learning method: self studying beforehand, participate in depth knowledge construction and practical exercises on lecture.

Enterpise Resourse Planning (ERP) concept and it's key areas in a company.
Basic processes supported by an ERP application in a company. Business Functions and Business Processes. Competitive advantage of integrated processes.

- Sales and Marketing module in ERP system. Sales and Distribution Process. Sales and Marketing integration with other modules.
- Production, materials management and supply chain management module. Materials Requirement Planning. Bill of material. Purchasing process.
- Functionalities in Financial Accounting module.
- Human Capital Management module's functionalities.

- ERP applications in the markets.

Additional information for students: previous knowledge etc.

Business studies in marketing, supply chain management, financial accounting and human resources.
