The student is able to
- plan, implement and evaluate care for the most common medical or surgical patients taking into account patient safety
- apply evidence-based nutrition recommendations in the care and guidance of a medical or surgical patient
- maintain professional interaction with patients or clients and their significant others in guidance situations and in resource-based support situations
