Exam retakes
Excel exam at the end of the course. It is possible to take the exam earlier if student has finished all the exercises.
Student time use and work load
Student should reserve 8-12 hours per week for total 14 weeks to finish the course. All the exercises are available at the beginning of the course and therefore it is possible to finish the course faster than 14 weeks.
Contents
Learning basic skills for text editing, producing presentation materials, using spreadsheets and doing basic image and video editing. The course contains lots of practical exercises. All the material and exercises are available in Reppu at the beginning of the course and it is possible to proceed the course with own pace as long as staying in the deadlines. Only mandatory contact lecture is the course info at the beginning of the course. No other mandatory contact lectures, but option Q&A session are provided for the students to get extra help for exercises.

The course is primary meant for the group IBU20K. Students from the other groups are welcome to the course if there are extra empty seats.

Student understands the different features and functionalities of the office applications and is able to use even more advanced functionalities in his/her work. Student knows the basic image and video editors.
Assessment criteria: level 5 (assessment scale 1–5)
Student has wide knowledge about the different features and functionalities of the office applications and is able to choose the best tool for the given problem. Student is able to solve the problems with the office applications efficiently and provide easily maintainable solutions. Student knows the basic image and video editors and is able to use them to do the simple editing tasks.
