Learning outcomes
The student is able to
- recognise the current issues and future trends in supply chains and logistics worldwide
- analyse research and case information and apply it within the field of international logistics and supply chains
Implementation and methods of teaching
First part is held by Prof. Graf from University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria. More information about this three day intensive lectures are given when lectures start in September 2019.
Second part consists both lectures and workshops with related assignments.
First part of the course (Prof. Graf) has compulsory attendance.
As an alternative path, the second part, you can be completed through project work which is closely linked with the ongoing RDI projects at LAHTI UAS.

Alternative completion methods
As an alternative option for the second part, you may complete the part through project work which is closely linked with the ongoing RDI projects of LAHTI UAS. The project work is agreed with the responsible teacher.
Contents
The course helps student to recognize future trends and issues affecting the field of SC management, as well as help the participant to recognize the future skills and competences needed for individual career development.
After completing the course, the student is able to
