Osaamistavoitteet

After this course:

- Student recognizes the basics of pharmacological kinetics and dynamics and the other terminology of the field and understands the origin of medication interactions.
- Student can name the pharmacological mechanisms of effects; side effects and counter indications of medications used in most common diseases and evaluate safe medication therapy in different groups of patients.
- Student can reason the choice of medication by the characteristics of the drug and patient compliance and support the patient in implementing medication therapy
