Osaamistavoitteet

Student is able to
- design evidence based physiotherapy treatment for the neurological adult patient
- delivery customer-oriented, activating and task-oriented physiotherapy and applied physical exercises taking neurological symptoms into account
- take into account human psychophysics in physiotherapy
- use different physiotherapy methods to support and maintain mental health

PART 2: Psychophysical physiotherapy

- In teams the students will organize a theme-day in given themes about rehabilitation & physiotherapy on neurological disorders
- a case- assignment, report and seminar work
- preparation and leading of exercise groups
- The students are grouped into six teams. Every team conduct once a group of rehabilitee at the swimming pool.

- evaluate a rehabilitee's functional ability using given methods
- design physiotherapy, integrating the principles of active and task-oriented physiotherapy
PART 2
- can analyse human body and movements in psychophysical aspect
- can support bodyimage and body awarness of the patient
- recognice the role of physiotherapist promoting mental wellbeing
PART 3
The student
- can plan, implement and evaluate physical activity for groups
- can instruct and assist adapted physical activity safely

PART 1
-understand the connection between the characteristics of different neurological disorders and the customer's symptoms
- select reliable methods for the functional assessment of rehabilitees
- design physiotherapy and understand it as part of multidisciplinary rehabilitation
- design and implement physiotherapy with a goal-oriented and rehabilitee-oriented approach
- describe the principles of active and task-oriented physiotherapy
PART 2
- can analyse patient´s resources (physical, social, psychological)
- can promoto the enpowering of the patient
- can support the mental wellbeing of the patient
PART 3
The student
- can design, implement and evaluate exercise and adapted physical activity in varied ways
- can instruct and assist adapted physical activity with versatile and active technique
