In Event Hub, the student is able to participate in various roles in the event hub, which provides an environment where RDI (Research, Development and Innovations) and the problem solving space of the university tackles real life experience management projects.
In this course you can either:
1) participate ongoing R&D projects in various roles (in LAB or in a case organization)
2) participate on preparation of national or international level R&D project
3) design, offer and implement a development project in a case organization
In all project types, you can utilize the knowledge and tools acquired in Research based development –course, and also use the own experience and understanding of real challenges in organizations.
Students can work as individuals, pairs or in small groups (depending on the project).

The course focuses particularly on consumer service experience and the value creation in tourism industry.
In this course tourist experience is used as an example for a typical experiential service.

The student will deliver a report based on the pre-course selected topics. Main work in the course is the report, which is based on selected topic area. This should preferably support students daily work and future objectives.
Additionally, virtual Moodle exam may be considered.
It will be beneficial if students reports will be chosen from the course area related topics.
Two course reports are the basis for the course assessment. After the instructors have received them, they will be reviewed but no later than June 30, 2021.

A 5 credit course assumes that students work independently for approximately 100 hours.
The course content is built from the theories and practical solutions. After successfull participation the students will understand and manage the following:
- Management of financial needs in corporations
- Principles of financial planning and forecasting in corporations
- Financing and financial instrumentation of investments and working capital in corporations
- How to read key financial indicators during planning process and capital structuring
- Managing financial risk in corporations
Student does not meet the lowest basic knowledge requirements in corporate financial planning, is not familiar with the fundamental concepts and definitions.

This course aims to provide an understanding about the basics of organizational design. We will discuss the fundamental issues and principles of the topic. As one of the main topics of the course is to get acquainted with managing current organizations, students will be looking into concepts and theories regarding organizational design and architecture. The main themes of the course are:

- Relation between an organization’s strategy and its design
- Organizational reconfiguration
