Implementation and methods of teaching

Pre-course task, contact days 17.3. and 27.3. at 9-16 with lectures and workshop, final task. The study course will be carried out simultaneously with the English study course LA00BQ02-3004 Societal change and future foresight methods.

Timing and attendance

Participation to contact days is highly recommended due to the group works during the days.

The courseworks are based on the challenges and experiences in working life.

Learning environment

Moodle is the platform for the course material, discussion and courseworks. Zoom connection is available during the contact days.

Student time use and work load

The course duration 5 credits means approximately 127 hours student work containing the contact days as well as work in groups and individually.

Contents

The aim of the course is to introduce some some approaches to the field of future research and opportunities to utilize future research methods in group works and individual course works. Historical changes in the society are discussed as well as the analysis of current situation and the impact of mega trends and trends on the working life. Methods like future wheel and scenario working together with future table are presented and practised.
