Learning outcomes

Student is able to analyse Russian cultural features, business environment and connection between these two. Student is able to produce written reports where the knowledge has been applied extensively.

Russian cultural environment; national culture and business culture. Features of business environment and connection to culture.
Articles (for reading and analysing).
Written reports

Assessment criteria

Reports will be evaluated and one final grade (scale 0-5) will be registered for the course in peppi. Reports are not graded separately.

Assessment scale

1-5

Assessment criteria: level 1 (assessment scale 1–5)

Student recognizes Russian cultural features and understand the connection between culture and international business. Student is able tho show this understanding in the reports. Student is able to explain shortly his/her own opinion.

Assessment criteria: level 3 (assessment scale 1–5)

Student can explain the different Russian cultural features and also is able to explain the connection between culture and international business. Student is able to produce the reports with these explanantions. Student is able to explain his/her opinion with some justification.

Assessment criteria: level 5 (assessment scale 1–5)

Student is able to analyse and interpret Russian culture and business environment extensively. Student is also able to produce analytical reports where the knowledge has been applied broadly. Student is able to explain his/her opinion extensively with several justifications.
