Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- describe typical production methods in their own field
- take into account the demands of different production methods and materials in designing a product

Implementation and methods of teaching

The course includes lectures and practical works.
Zero Waste outfit is produced during the course.

Attendance and participation in lectures.
Outfit evaluation.
Presentation evaluation.

Exercises and outfit have not been returned in time.
The work and process has not been presented.

The student is able to:
- search information from different sources
- produce the product/outfit using ready-made patterns
- use learned production techniques
- work as a group member
- present his/her work

Assessment criteria: level 3 (assessment scale 1–5)

The student is able to:
- search and select information from different sources
- apply learned pattern making and manufacturing methods in his/her work
- work goal-directed in a group
- consider the target group in his/her design
- present his/her work clearly

The student is able to:
- search and evaluate information from different sources
- develop and create new innovative solutions in his/her work
- choose applicable technics to his/her work and explain choices made
- work target group orientated and compare different solutions
