Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- select and compare publishing platforms
- create a professional portfolio for different purposes
- use a portfolio as a promotional tool
- use a portfolio as a means of developing their professional profiles.

Implementation and methods of teaching

This course is in two parts.

PART 1 The joint part of the course for all visual communication students is via zoom (3 sessions). There will be tasks that the students do independently and we might have quick assignments during the meetings.
PART 2 Students continue to work on their portfolios in their departments. Different schedules follow for each department.

Assessment criteria

The course assessment is Failed/Passes.

Tasks for PART 1 are assessed Qualified/Needs complementing (hyväksytty/täydennettävä).
Participation to classes (3 sessions via zoom) and all tasks must be completed in time to qualify for credits for PART 1.
