Learning outcomes
The student is able to
- show that he/she has familiarized himself/herself to the terms and concepts of Service Design
- design and implement a service design project for the chosen project up to needed phase
- commit the target organization and stake holders in a service design process
- drive a development project successfully
- evaluate a development project and the effects of a its results
Implementation and methods of teaching
LEARNING METHODS:
Working with the users, doing project in a co-operation of company/ organization, individual work, multidisciplinary team work, familiarizing with literature and creating a learning contract.

Start session Tue 14.9.2021 13-16 in Zoom.
The course will be implemented mostly in the internet.

Material will be published in the beginning of the course.

Student time use and work load
A student is expected to work 400 hours.
Contents
CONTENT: Familiarize with a background of a service design project and design and implement it. Propose ideas and results in a visual easy understanding way. Act as a member of a user research team.
Teamwork and team learning skills will be deepened and self-direction is used. Set the goals for the actions and evaluate them and reflect learning.
Additional information for students: previous knowledge etc.
Service Design methods for designing and implementing a new service concept (15 ects) or corresponding know-how.
Assessment criteria
Self and peer evaluation, the personal evaluation of the trainer and the project results feedback of the customer.
