The student is able to
- describe the significance of a supply network in achieving company competitiveness and customer benefit
- exploit the tools of supply network development

Implementation and methods of teaching

This will be an online course due to Corona. More detailed instructions about participation will be sent to enrolled participants during week 37. Lectures will be held according to schedule.

Timing and attendance

Lectures will be held via Zoom and are not recorded. Participation recommended.

The student is able to
- describe the supply chain and recognize possible problems, risks and development opportunities
- understand benefits and cost savings achieved with SC development
- identify different functions, understands their effects on customer service level and costs in the entire supply chain

Assessment criteria: level 3 (assessment scale 1–5)

The student is able to
- describe the supply chain and recognize possible problems, risks and development opportunities
- analyse benefits and cost savings achieved with SC development
- create different function models taking into consideration their effects on customer service level and costs in the entire supply chain
- plan projects and functions for developing the supply chain

Assessment criteria: level 5 (assessment scale 1–5)

The student is able to
- describe the supply chain and recognize possible problems, risks and development opportunities
- analyse benefits and cost savings achieved with SC development
- create different function models taking into consideration their effects on customer service level and costs in the entire supply chain
