Learning outcomes
To become familiar with the most important medical substances and preparations: to know their therapeutic, side, adverse and combined effects: to be able to acquire additional pharmacological information when necessary: to command the use of Pharmaca Fennica. To be able find more pharmacological information. To be able to use the most common emergency drugs, to know the therapeutical effects of these drugs. To be able to give right dosage of medicine to patient. To know the pharmacodynamic and the pharmacokinetic of the drugs. To know the most common life-threatening intoxications and to be able to care these situations. To know the most common anesthesia drugs. To be able to give right dosage to patient in pre-, intra- and postoperative situations.
