Contents

The students will know how to implement the value network thinking in development projects in small businesses. The students will be able to recognize value creation gaps within a business network, and come up with tangible suggestions to close the gap. Additionally the students will learn how the digital environment helps in closing the gaps and gaining a better understanding about the value network.

Some lectures will be replaced by individual assignments given by the lecturer.

The students will also do individually a practical work based on the subject at the end of the course.

The assignments show that the student has basic understanding about the underlying concepts of the course. Practical implications of the assignment are fair. The student has provided a fair amount of his/her own input in the assignments, and reflects it from multiple points of view.

Assessment criteria: level 5 (assessment scale 1–5)

The assignments show that the student has understood the underlying concepts of the course exceptionally. Practical implications of the assignments are well reasoned and broad. The student has provided a great deal of his/her own input in the assignments. The student's own contribution is well reasoned, and is based on external references.
