Learning outcomes
The student is able to
- implement basic clinical nursing skills and interpret basic organ functions in a customer-oriented manner
- work ergonomically and follow occupational safety instructions in nursing
- describe the basics of microbiology and the principles of infection control
- explain the principles of patient safety
- calculate the dosages of drugs used in pharmacotherapy and understand their responsibility for the correctness of the calculations

The student knows actions included in the ABCDE protocol and is able to implement it the needed level. The student can name and use aids in ergonomics and thus promoting general safety.
Assessment criteria: level 3 (assessment scale 1–5)
The student knows the actions of ABCDE protocol and is able to implement them in good level. The student understands and is able to utilise techniques and aids used in safe patient mobilisation taking rehabilitative working method into consideration partly.
Assessment criteria: level 5 (assessment scale 1–5)
