Implementation and methods of teaching
The web course with texts and exercises related to them.
The objective of the course is to get to know the Francophonia or the French-speaking world, especially some french-speaking countries through texts about different subjects (e.g. turism, economy, culture) and with exercises related.
Timing and attendance
May - August 2020. No contact lessons.

On-line exam at the end of the course, the retake exam is organized if needed.

Contents
The course inludes four authentic texts which are partly modified to help the understanding. Different kind of exercises are related to the texts. In addition, the student chooses one text of his/her own and makes an abstract in French about it.
In Grammary especially the subjonctive and the past tenses (the imperfect and the perfect tenses) are concerned.
Additional information for students: previous knowledge etc.
The basics of French language (The French Basics 1 and The French Basics 2 at University of Applied Sciences of LAB, in total 10 ects) or the same knowledge of French acquired somewhere else.
The course a quota (of 15 students) reserved for students of LAB.
Assessment criteria
The course is evaluated by the basis of returned exercises and the on-line final exam.
The level of the course is the CEFR level B1.

The knowledge ans the skills of the student are on mediocre level in relation to the learning expectations.
The student can communicate on mediocre level in written and spoken way in simple communication situations.
