The degree programme in Media, major in Media Content Design, educates well-rounded professionals with practical skills in communication. Success in the profession requires sound general knowledge in communication and an ability to use text, image and sound to build functional and interesting digital products and works. Students have the opportunity to specialise, for example, in motion graphics and animation, audio-visual and post-production, or the design of interactive content and games. Graduates can find work, for example, in the game industry, production of commercial films, design of web-based applications and content, or design of communications in a variety of sectors.

The studies focus on workshops, in which students apply the knowledge and skills they have learned in lectures and tools classes. Although the media industry requires strong skills in applying technology, the focus of the studies lies in design and creative problem-solving. A large part of the studies is linked to projects that yield actual products for actual customers, as the students gain practical experience in goal-oriented design.
